Speaker Bio
Ali is a graduate of Mount Scopus College and has been involved in both formal and informal education since 2013. Ali is a co-founder of NCJWA (Vic)’s The Jam Project, which aims to empower teenage girls via mentorship and was involved with Zooz for many years. She is passionate about creating opportunities for young adults to engage with their Judaism and give back to their local and wider communities. Ali has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in History and minor in Jewish Studies as well as a Master of Teaching (Primary and Secondary) from Monash University. Ali is also interested in navigating wellbeing and resilience in students, in order for them survive and thrive in our new-age social media world. As a reality tv, music and pop culture fan, she loves finding connections in the modern world with Judaism’s texts and traditions.
