Speaker Bio
Shoshana is a lover of Torah and pop culture aficionado. She studied Creative Writing and Social & Political Sciences at the University of Technology, Sydney, received First Class Honours for her thesis, and was published in UTS’s 2018 Writers’ Anthology. Shoshana is the creator of the popular Instagram page JewishMemesOnly, amassed almost 25k followers across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, and has been profiled in The Forward, The Australian Jewish News and Plus61J. An ex-Bnei Akiva madricha and Midreshet Yeud alumna, Shoshana is currently completing a Masters of Secondary Education alongside full time Torah study in Pardes Educators’ Program where she focuses on Tanach study. Shoshana is passionate about Jewish literacy, learning Torah through creative mediums, and creating safe communities for LGBT+ Jews. She currently cohosts a weekly podcast called Pop Culture Parasha.
