Speaker Bio
Talya has a social work degree and has been working in Child Protection for 13 years. She has experience in intergenerational/trauma, abuse and how this impacts upon a child’s development. At the moment she is working closely with Australia’s first nations peoples. Talya advocates for children on a daily basis so they can get the services they need. In addition, she also has experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder due to having a child on the spectrum and the difficulties in navigating this world as a parent and in ensuring her child has a Jewish education in a mainstream setting.
