Speaker Bio
Yaffa has lectured throughout the Melbourne Jewish community to children, youth and adults. In her roles as the Youth Director at Blake Street, Spiritgrow Bat Mitzvah Program Coordinator & Youth Mentor, and Jewish Studies Support Coordinator at Yavneh, Yaffa regularly teaches students of all ages, from lower primary school to upper high-school students. In her Blake Street role, Yaffa also has experience in adult Jewish education. After completing high school at Beth Rivkah Ladies College, Yaffa continued her Jewish education studying at Ohel Chana seminary and at Monash University where she completed Arts/Science minoring in Religious Studies, majoring in Psychology and Literature. These three areas of interest underpin many of Yaffa’s shuirim and presentations.
